Pirate themed party have got to be one of my favorite themes. My sister threw a party for her son and the decor was pirate of the Caribbean!
It makes me wanna say “dead men tell no tails!”. I know I’m a super disney fan lol. Vintage candle sticks, creepy crow, bones, creepy cloth, and an old lighting piece with spider webs make a perfect dead pirate look.
Everyone should have a over sized chalk board! Endless possibilities. We have used it on al birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, and bridal showers.
Old suitcase for a cake stand? Yes! Old candle holder and a cool silver cake cover make for a perfect old look.
There was more to keep the pirate spirit alive. Messed up cloth and pirate flags to invite the kids into the pirate world was a great entrance.
This time instead of games they did a water slide toy and snow cone machine. Best idea ever! All the boys had a blast and it was low maintenance for the adults. Enjoy!!!
My sister in-law had a beautiful baby shower over the weekend and I just had to share her Pinterest inspired party! These are not my ideas but I just to share what they had done!
The table decor doubled as a gift! I love decor that is useful! In the center was a tall layered diaper cakes and on each side was an additional single layer diaper cake. Free diapers awesome!
Chips ahoy!!! For food they had mini turkey sandwiches, chips, a fruit sail ship, and a veggie tray. I honestly believe the better the food the better the party.
I thought this was so adorable. The napkins had lifesaver mints tied onto the set. It was super cute and after the food I needed a mint.
The drink was pink lemonade. The fish floats in the drink was a great touch(as long as they haven’t been used before lol) and cute straws.
The hostess had some home decor that matched the theme of the shower. She had some through out the house.
Dessert! My favorite. The cake bites were my sisters favorite. I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try one. BUT I did eat the mini cheesecake bits. They were awesome. They were nilla wafers with cheesecake frosting and a cherry filling on top. They were the best little treats ever! So good.
Last but not least the party favors. They keep with the sail theme and inside they had salt water taffy.
This shower was so cute I had to share! Good job hostesses!!!
