My neighbor is a great kid. Him and his friends only could spend 20 a couple. We all that doesn’t go far. So I offered to host a dinner for him. He jumped at the chance and I jumped to the challenge. We had most of the glass and the stuff I didn’t have I bought at the dollar store.I used my mother’s china and chocolate fountain. It turned out great.
The dessert table was a hit. We had lots of treats to be dipped in the chocolate fountain and we also had a cake for the boy that had a birthday that day.
Most of the glass we already had. We also had the running already. The napkins gave a splash of color. We got some flowers and had them in the large jars. We also had limes cut in half in one of the jars. All the table decor was less than 10 dollars.
We had wedge salad to start. Main course was Chicken Cordon Blue, bacon and green beans, cheese potatoes, and homemade rolls. For Dessert we had a cake for the birthday boy and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows, cookies, strawberries, bananas, pineapple, and homemade rice-crisps treats.5 couples=$100. It can be done.
We wrapped the railing with tulle and lights. They loved it out there. It was a warm night and the river was right out back
This dinner turned out great and we saved cash!
